UPS is a little different animal than most. Well I agree you would not get rich working here. You certainly can be very comfortable the wages, benefits, and retirement. Are hard to find.

Entrepreneurship is the quickest way to wealth if that’s what you’re after.

Of course it’s risky and it’s also the quickest way to be broke.
Converted family building to biz. Hope to expand this year. $ is melting in the bank.

Just work more hours and spend less.

Not sure what the pters are making but I remember taking a long time to break twenty bucks an hour and these guys start making more.

My Parents said "if you want to be rich you are on your own" They didn't have much money. I learned early on that getting a paying job was the key to making money. I had GREAT parents. They let me have ANYTHING I wanted as long as I bought it myself and paid all expenses that came along with it (fuel, insurance, upkeep, etc.). This is the reason I drove a moped starting in 5th grade when everyone else had bicycles. I had a paying job from 4th grade on.
Honda 90 in 6th grade. $300 was a pile of money.

Had a 72 blue one.
I filled it up with oil and headed to the dealership to unload it. The sales guy took it down (dealership on a hill) the road for a drive. When he was coming back up, I didn't think he was going to make it up the hill. The smoke was rolling. Looked like it was on fire as usual.
He got out and looked at me like, "what the hell". No words were said. He opened his hand as if to show 5. I thought $50. I said, I'll take it. Went into the office and he wrote $500 on the trade. I couldn't believe it. Free at last, free at last.
