Could be that India is willing to work with the U.S. on imbalances in exchange for gaining investment from Apple and others. What we would gain is a trading partner that isn't trying to steal our technology or assert itself as dominant in an ever expanding sphere of influence. Culturally and ideologically India is very different from China.
What is the “I” in BRICS?

Doesn’t look like we have to worry about China cheating. Those tariffs and jobs are being driven away from that place to where they belong. In………………. View attachment 518285

Very few men walk their path with boldness. Most just yell at the world while time passes them by. Even fewer walk around with an aura that changes outcomes. Still walking…

India is set to become the third-largest economy by 2030-31 with projected annual growth of 6.7%

Growth is everything. After them its Africa
And still doesn't mean they'll become the enemy. With the world's largest population the sky is the limit for them. But like China they have a huge amount of people to pull out of poverty.

with over a billion people and a country that is rich in natural resources and farmland I'm kind of surprised it has taken them this long.

Chinas infrastructure is damn good. Indias birthrate is killing it right now. They are next up.
china's infrastructure is well developed where they need it to be . the rest is under developed.
india's birthrate has been declining the past decade from over 20 per thousand to the 16 range
if birthrates equaled economic success africa would be the next economic super power with birth rates in the 40's per 1000

You have a point. I’m seeing Africa as a large future consumer base. There is no incentive to allow them to superpower status. I see that continent as a human civilization full circle. I have been studying China 🇨🇳 culture started by Africans. Fascinating wiped history.

There were other black populations in Australasia. The Australian aborigines, the Papua New Guinean's, Solomon Islanders, Melanesians, Micronesians, a small group in the Philippines, the Sentinelese, some groups in India. Doesn't mean that the Chinese and other Asians are actually black. Two distinct races.

It was just interesting that XI said they have been around 5000 years. So I was like hmm who was there before them. Anyone claiming 5k years is definitely not original. Kinda like the Cheddar man from Britain 🇬🇧.
