But much of the U.S. doesn't have enough sun to make solar viable. And not enough wind to make wind power viable. If you live in the Southwest you can make enough power for fans and evaporative coolers in your home. So use solar(or wind) where it's practical and abundant. But the climate extremists tried to force it on everyone everywhere. Germany found out after a lot of investment that neither solar or wind will work for them and, after getting cut off from Russian gas, they've reverted to coal.
