You have to have seniority in order to accrue vacation time correct? Or can people still in a 30 day probation accrue vacation time?

I understand that part, but would it already show some time accrued? That wouldn't show up if you hadn't gained seniority correct?

You only accrue vacation in management at UPS. Hourly it is, hey you worked enough hours last year and have this much time in, you get this much.

You should see it on your pay stub when it accrues, but all at one time. Usually a week or two after your eligibility date.

No need to wait for your pay stub. Go to upsers, click on Job Tools, then click on Time Off Viewer. It should show all available time that you have for 2017, assuming that you get all of your paid time off on the 1st of the year.

In the Atlantic area you cannot take individual vacation days until you have been employed long enough to accrue 3 weeks of vacation. Check your supplement, it may differ.

You accrue vacation time from your hire date if you are a permanent employee. As a permanent employee your seniority date is your first day worked(part time). So if you're hired January 1, you will be able to take a weeks vacation next January (for example purposes). The answer to both of your questions is yes.
