I never sold one back so I don't know how it works.
The only thing we get paid off for is unused personal days and our sick days are allowed to roll over

The only reason I know is because I thought I used all of mine. I wasnt showing I had any left but they gave me a green check for a unused option day. If somebody is giving me money, I ain’t gonna ask any questions.

The 1st year that I was eligible for vacation, I lost the bid sheet, so I never took one. I got the vacation checks the week of Thanksgiving.

If the OP has not gotten their vacation checks, yet, he/she needs to ask where they are.

We get paid out at our anniversary. That's also when we get our vacation.

That is when we get ours. Mine is in June, so any vacation I take before shows as a negative number on my pay stub. We pick by the calendar year, so unused vacation is paid out on the last week that vacation can be taken, which is Thanksgiving week.
