I should note, the skywalk is also pricey but most touristy things are. If you want a better experience for about the same price, a helicopter tour is a helluva way to see the canyon. Have fun out there.

P.S.I'm still needing to be rescued from my sister's wedding Saturday so I can catch the Pats game...lol

He's a great guy, both their second weddings and she chose to have it on the day of the playoffs. They are getting married in W.Spfld, just a JP ceremony. She's in trouble anyways, been ruining every surprise I had planned for her. Paid her wedding set off and she found out I did it by threatening to cancel the sale if the jewelry store didnt tell her where the payment was made...No one else lives near Rapid City, SD cept me! LOL.

I'm flying in tomorrow morning early was going to surprise her, now she is stay at folks house because of that "seeing groom b4 wedding BS"

I liked ballys and the Trop. We have gone last 4 yrs and don't want to stay at same place ! We visited Sams Town liked it but last shuttle leaves strip at 930 pm so we ruled it out !!
I may talk her into Luxor but we won't stay on freemont again

Thinking about it, but ahh 4 hr drive!!! Something a feeder driver didn't want on vaca lol

Freemont is fun on a Friday night....bands playing....free entertainment.....Zip line, but I don't want to stay there......only Golden Nugget would I even consider....they have a great buffet.
People who go to Vegas to gamble don't usually want to do touristy stuff. When I won big, they asked if I wanted to have my picture taken with the 'fan of cash' and I said sure. I didn't know it involved going off site to do it. Don't pull me from my machines. I declined.

I only ate there.....Buca Dibeppo. We, years ago ,stayed at the Trop and at Ballys. Just walked across the street to see what Excalibur was all about. It reminds me of Medievil Times. I would think too many kids.
We don't stay on the strip anymore now......used to like Ballys, Caesars......stayed at both(years ago).
The Rio might be nice...can see Penn & Teller. The Palms is probably too young a crowd....lots of clubbers. I,m not up on the new ones. We used to at least visit a new casino, but they started opening so fast, we couldn't keep up. Last one new that we checked out was Red Rock....way off the strip, but beautiful.
We stay where they comp us a suite and comp all of our food.....Boulder Station....not on the strip. We love it there and we win more than anywhere else.
For us it was because it's the casino that's closest to where our daughter lives and it makes it easy to visit. I like the way we are treated, but maybe it's because we are old.
Have a great time in Vegas! Where you stay can be only a bed and shower and you can visit all the casinos. We spend very little time in the room....unless we are both losing, then we order a movie.
Can you tell Vegas is one of my favorite topics?

We stayed at the Excaliber years ago. I don't remember an over abundance of kids. Avoid Circus Circus at all times!

One thought with seeing Hoover Dam is to go on a flight.
Single engine plane, no idea what the prices are, but thinking in 90 min you get to it, fly over it, and am back at the airport.
I have heard there are times of the day you do not want to take the flying tour of Hoover due to the turbulence.

Treasure Island offers the free pirate show out front....just like Mirage offers the volcano eruption and the Bellagio has the fountain show....all free.

The circus circus is the biggest dump in all of vegas.....cant believe you didn't like The D ...to me , that place is best deal in all of vegas. Excalibur is nothing,special
