Veterans Day pay

I'm a p/t air driver/preloader. Someone told me we should be getting double time+ holiday pay for working Veterans Day. Is this true? I keep forgetting to ask. Always rushing to finish my assignment and then hustling to get air delivered on time. Never remember to ask these questions

Yeah, if its a UPS holiday it is certainly a rare one, never saw it in any UPS contract I've browsed through. I'd imagine if it's a holiday for anyone it's for about 1% of the union.

Whoever is running the local that gets holiday pay for it should run for Union President. Because that guy knows how to negotiate.
