they have legal rights, philosophically they have no rights in this country
Let me make something clear. I'm not against the illegals coming in because they're of different races. I'm against it for multiple reasons. They aren't being vetted. We don't know who these people are. Could be criminals and terrorists amongst them. Not could be, there are. And letting in so many at once overwhelms our support systems intended for citizens in need. It's costing us billions when we don't have the money. And it's just plain illegal. They are breaking the law and are being abetted by our own government that's breaking the law also. A lot of reasons why it shouldn't be happening and a lot of excuses from those in power who see the illegals as the ultimate way to game our political system and gain permanent power. But let's get away from calling people names and treating them as subhuman.

6T dollars are currently in money markets. If a significant amount of those dollars enter the market, watch out for a market bull run. Powell took a victory lap today and his smugness was transparent.

If things are so freaking fantastic under Bumbling Biden, why is everyone’s net worth still down 25-40%?
Not you financial geniuses, but the other 95% of the US Investor population.

Everyone’s net worth is down up to 40%? Since when? January 19, 2021?

That’s creative.
Oh that's right, you lower middle income earners saw huge increses, so now your $45K nest egg is work $60K....LOL...High roller!

"There was supposed to be a rally," said Lili Vasileff, a certified financial planner in Greenwich, Connecticut. "It hasn't happened. If anything, it's fizzled."

The worst year ever for stocks and bonds?

Stocks shed 18.6% of their value in 2022, as measured by the S&P 500, a loss that swells to 25% after adjusting for inflation, according to a NASDAQ analysis.

Bonds lost 13.7% of their value, according to the Vanguard Total Bond Market Index. Inflation pushes that figure to 20%, the worst bond return in 97 years, according to NASDAQ.

Mr. Initial... this is just my Prudential (Empower) 401k account which is a little under 2/3rds of my net worth. My other accounts are doing well, too. As you can see this is my performance since the day before Joe Biden took office.

Real wages are up. Stock market is up. Unemployment is crazy low. Inflation continues the cooling trend. Bond market has been struggling but that's capitalism. The Fed is hinting rate cuts next year if things remain on a similar trend.

Things are pretty good. Life is good under this president. Glad you could help clear this up for people.

Edit: I should add that I'm a fulltime driver at UPS with less than 10 years of service.

Bet against America and you'll go flat broke.
