We four wheel onto the beach and always take a trash bag in a portable pop up trash receptacle and deposit the bag in the dumpster furnished by the municipality on the way off. Brigantine NJ sells close to a million dollars in 4x4 yearly permits. They provide the dumpster and spot-a-pots (even pink ones for the ladies).It's a good deal. We drive to the water's edge with grills, canopies, rafts, etc. No schlepping across the hot sand after finding a parking spot close to the beach.
