I have back packed in the Adirondacks, the AT in NJ,PA,NY,VA, the mountains in New Mexico, Montana and Canada; slept on the ground sometimes with just a sleeping bag, pad and no tent. These days the campground is a cabin with beds and a cooler with beer in it. LOL
