It is said the Democrats will pay for all the socialist/communist "transforming"....crime, BLM....high fuel prices....inflation....at the ballot box(unchallenged/unvarified mail in voting).

Anyone see the blurbs about Covid ramping up in Europe? Just in time for the elections.....

No? Right out of the 2020 Democrat playbook. Do you realize we are in this liberal nightmare because of about 40,000 votes?

And the drumbeats of war by liberal Democrats....OMG.

To watch Nancy Pelosi wring and gyrate her hands about SA300 missiles and "migs".....is scary and comical. To listen to liberals wax poetically about "No fly zones" like it's Kandahar....or some backwater African slum.

Folks....we are at war already....handing out Stingers like candy and all that. Drones are aircraft. Did you see where "trucking" in the migs from Poland would constitute not coming from Poland? Just one tactical nuke going off.......

Anyone wonder why those apartment buildings and civilian targeting is happening? That's where the stingers and opposition is coming from. Just like the Muslims hiding in mosques......

Covid and War.....the 2022/2024 liberal Democrat strategy for stealing elections. No? Ever hear about BLM, Defunding the police anymore? No you don't. Democrats are running away from that fast and furiously. Hollywood? Very quiet.

And Biden? Hunter Biden has begun to be thrown under the bus.......mainstreamed. Daddy Biden will be next.

Only to see Kamala Harris....first sorta black woman President.....a goal(by the liberals) at ANY cost.

Some old guy ..heart attack waiting to happen.. came up uninvited to our table at supper in a restaurant last night. He handed us “I did that” Biden stickers to put on gas pumps. We laughed and rolled our eyes. But he didn’t stop there. He tried to engage us in conversation and in the first 5 minutes he used the N-word and said that the biggest problem with America now is that blacks and women get to vote. The women at the table were pissed and even though we are all white, my friend who was with us has a daughter that is married to a black man.

It is insane to me how many people like that old man are out there and how many are on this site.

Nope . Really happened in central Illinois last night and my wife says she is still mad about it. When you agree with someone like Quad politically..do you ever question why?

I have seen what the base is like when they think they are with likeminded people. I fit the demographic, just have more education.

I am not lying. The reason I included it is because it is exactly like the rant Quad went on. What does Kamala maybe being the first woman President have to do with Ukraine???

What does BLM or Hollywood have to do with Ukraine???

I’ll say it again here. I was at UPS for over 35 years and the biggest MAGA people I worked with were the dumbest and most racist people in my center. They spoke their minds in the office when they thought there were only likeminded people there.

The topic of this thread was Ukraine..and somehow he went off on every anti-Democrat thing he could come up with. And you thought that made perfect sense.

I believe the “base” are all of the people who came out of the woodwork because of Trump. They didn’t care much about politics before he made it okay to be offensive to others and dismissive of everyone that doesn’t agree with you.

The opinion shows feed off of this by reinforcing the us vs them narrative that the “base” spouts in posts like the one I quoted by Quad. What is your explanation for all of the irrelevant content in his post? Why did you jump in to say “it was a package, we don’t want it”?

Are you unable to focus on a single topic?

Didn’t you have a heart attack or something?

They will never take The Last Frontier! Not only huge military presence but we probably have the highest number of privately owned ARs per capita than any state in the union… and a lot of these gun owners would love an excuse to defend their land.

More likely to see a “No Trespassing!! We have Guns AND Shovels!!” sign than a house number on a good deal of my route 🤣🤣

No heart attack, I do have heart issues, thanks for your concern.

I do not speak for Quad or endorse what he says, that said I don't have blanket disagreement with him.

I speak for myself solely, if my positions match anothers, so be it.

With the left everything is a package. Your side is, "don't let a crisis go to waste."

I assume you are educated, you already told me, no need for examples.
Unless you aren't educated then I will offer examples.

I am a registered Republican. I hate what the “base” has turned the Republican Party into. I believe most people agree on 99% of things in life, but the current climate makes some people obsessed with the 1% they disagree on.

Like I said, no one at work talked about Romney, Bush or McCain... but all of a sudden many of the dumbest people there were huge Trumpers! Why were they not Republicans before?

There are no easy answers to a lot of the problems the country faces. It is too bad there is no middle ground anymore.

We probably agree on a lot more than we disagree on.

I hope your heart issues improve.

I understand.
I was a Republican when Reagan ran and was elected.

Since his second term I am no longer a Republican, The party that Reagan gave life to has departed me, just as his former democrat party departed him.

I am a Conservative, I do not vote R or D, could not possibly vote for a D, will not vote for an R I do not agree with unless it is absolutely necessary to keep a D from office.

That said, I was a Cruz man, and am 100% Trump, he proved himself to be more true to conservative values, by his deeds, than anyone claiming to be conservative since Reagan.
