I still have that 486 and it still works. I seldom used it for Windows. I used it for DOS 6.0 usually. (Win 3.1 was just a shell that was really running on top of DOS).

No need to buy them you can just use a bootlegged version and use windows loader to bypass the validation or registration. I LIKE FREE SCHIZNITT lmfao.

Not quite 20. The original Pentium came out about 20 years ago but it wasn't that much better than a 486. In late 1990's it was obsolete though, I agree.

That's true. Pentium came out in 93 and most Windows 95 computers were on the new pentium based PCs.

You can tweak Win 8 so its a lot like Win 7 but you shouldn't have to do it. The Metro (now called Modern) interface is just awful. And those Win 8 apps take up the whole screen and don't run in separate windows - which kind of defeats the concept of windows. That was one of the things they are fixing in Win 10.

I had one for awhile...it outlived my Gateway...and finally crapped out maybe 10 or so years ago.

Here are the steps:

1. Step 1 - Enter your computer's BIOS.
2. Step 2 - Set your computer to boot from DVD or USB.
3. Step 3 - Choose the Windows 10 clean install option.
4. Step 4 - How to find your Windows 10 license key.
5. Step 5 - Select your hard disk or SSD.
