"Work as directed"...for six days during peak?

I'm a PT hub worker on the night shift, working Sunday through Thursday night. Supervisors gave us word last night that we have mandatory work on Friday night through peak.

I know this means overtime pay throughout day six, but can we be mandated to show up on that day? Thanks.

(I'm in Local 767 if that counts for anything.)
