Seems to be a pretty common term. I think it better describes the situation of first world poverty...most people aren’t starving. They may not even be malnourished. But looking at the week ahead they are not sure where the food money is going to come from.

Kind of like my helper. Told me yesterday there was no need to stop at a store for lunch, he had packed something. What had he packed? A dry ramen packet that he ate like a sandwich.

Payroll must have forgotten to pay him too? Getting to be a disease lately. And paying the seniority pt timers $14/hr all day including driving seasonally is the new normal.

I doubt you come across them often but next time you get a chance, open a bag of ramen, stick your nose in and take a huge whiff.

It tastes exactly like it smells.

I might try it tomorrow just to say I've done it.

That's one of those things I've never thought about doing.
Like mayo on fries.
When i tried that, it was actually good.
Dry ramen seems like it will probably taste like potato chips.

Needs soy sauce and a pinch of horseradish.

That's garbage. Think how much interest the company will accrue per week if they can screw employees out of their paychecks.

Yeah they forgot a bunch of the helpers. Who knows about the other seasonals. Also when I went from preload to 22.4 they would just randomly pay me $14/hr for a whole day every now and then. I always got all my money but it should not be a constant issue like this.
