China told the U.S. to find its own gallium, germanium, and antimony, slapping a ban on these high-tech minerals used in chips, batteries, and even military gadgets.

When the leaders before sold out our country to foreign countries this is what you can expect. We are at their mercy. We went from a producing country to a consuming country. We were sold out for a promise of cheap junk and the junk isnā€™t cheap. We got screwed while the ones selling us out got rich.

What makes you think you need to ā€œinformā€ us of that which we already know?

Arenā€™t you moving to Canada or hanging yourself or something?
Get on with it.

Since China lacks women ( the one child rule made too many boys ) , how about we offer to send them some of our extra women ?

Thanks, Biden.

"China announced on Tuesday a ban on the export of a number of minerals with military and technology applications to the U.S., one day after the Biden administration further curbed its own exports as part of its crackdown on China's semiconductor industry."

-------

"These new controls only underscore the importance of strengthening our efforts with other countries to de-risk and diversify critical supply chains away from PRC (China)," a White House spokesperson was quoted as saying by the Reuters news agency."

Biden finalizes increases to some of Trumpā€™s China tariffs

September 13, 2024

"The Biden administration said Friday that it has finalized tariff hikes on certain Chinese-made products that the president first announced in May.

The tariff rate will go up to 100% on electric vehicles, to 50% on solar cells and to 25% on electrical vehicle batteries, critical minerals, steel, aluminum, face masks and ship-to-shore cranes beginning September 27, according to the US Trade Representativeā€™s Office.

Tariff hikes on other products, including semiconductor chips, are set to take effect over the next two years."

----------------

"Trump implemented sweeping tariffs on about $300 billion of Chinese-made products when he was in office. President Joe Biden has kept those tariffs in place and, after the USTR finished a multiyear review earlier this year, decided to increase some of the rates on about $15 billion of Chinese imports."

Trump presided over the Abraham Accords, the most movement in the Middle East since Begin/Sadat/Carter. Got NATO countries to live up to their obligations, which most back slid under Biden. Is your idea of foreign relations giving Iran a lot of money and not saying anything mean?
