People struggle with inflation now but in the future with less work they'll be able to afford their wants and needs, right? You’re definitely right though. Carole tome has said her goal is end to end automation, and we have one of the strongest unions at ups and we’re doing nothing to stop it

I agree. I could see them automating feeders for long hauls but they’ll still need drivers for city id imagine and probably just to supervise everything

Ups has automated lots of things in our building, like irreg cart drivers are now done by robots. They claim it will not take away jobs and just make things more productive and create more jobs, I suppose we’ll see
