immigrants tend to vote conservative actually. They’re often not fans of the lgbt. The Somali community in Minneapolis endorsed Trump this election and same with the Muslims in Michigan
while they hold conservative beliefs they do not vote conservative. Minneapolis controls minnesota thanks to somalis voting blue. They didnt vote trump they voted stein in protest to biden/harris

In a national exit poll, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a major Muslim advocacy organization, found Green Party candidate Jill Stein received 53% of the Muslim vote, Trump secured 21% and Harris received 20%.

perhaps someone should remind them they are conservative.

If the gains in A.I. and robotics materialize we'll see tens of millions out of work. Doesn't appear that was given much consideration when they started letting millions a year in under Biden. If we don't get at least the criminals deported then this is going to end badly.
Our biggest problem is not being able to conserve the money without investment. Technology is not held back to wait for mankind. Mankind has the god given ability to evolve no matter what. Lefty Righty is a distraction from transposing your mentality and used as a built in handicapped excuse mechanism.

And in your estimation what are we going to evolve to do once tens of millions of jobs are eliminated by technology?

So the 1.4 million illegal aliens that have already had their cases heard and have been ordered to be deported..... the illegal criminals that Democrats have been harboring.... they're actually the backbone of the economy and it will crash without them? What are they doing exactly?

Delusional leftist nonsense.
No Dem worry about the American citizens who's personal economic situations are hurt from massive illegal flooding.

Transition into more lifelong learning non-repetitive jobs. Soft skills involving communication and problem solving. Teamwork will mesh with automation. Healthcare and teaching will become more efficient. Also increased personal/family time.

Yes, because the people doing manual labor now instead of the skilled jobs are going to get a lot more technically proficient, right? People struggle with inflation now but in the future with less work they'll be able to afford their wants and needs, right? Put 70 million people out of work and show me this wonderful rebirth we're going to have that we aren't having now.

They want Americans to suffer, that's the plan.

It's the cloward-piven strategy.
Americans will suffer, many just cannot see it yet.

Right now, it's more about gaining total control. Once these dependent people can be made into permanent Dem voters, then the real dismantling of American can take place.

As men we have to and will step up. I believe we will see a shift in mentality and time preference. IMO we need universal healthcare and adequate housing. Kind of like gentrification. You know it’s coming so adjust your journey accordingly. We have the most access to info in HUMAN History. Use it. Tech always disrupts..print press, electricity, cars, computers, Bitcoin….. adjust accordingly…

When in history have the powers that be worked towards displacing half of the workforce? The problem is you're caught up in some sci-fi or woke vision of what could be instead of the harsh reality of what will happen with no gainful employment available for half the population.

These corporations that are displacing half the population with robot workers still need that same population to consume their products and services, which they won’t be able to do if everyone is broke

We might need to do something like heavily tax the corporations and the robots replacing us and implement some UBI program

Half the population will still be working and will be well paid. That's what you have now, half the country is doing well and they do the consuming. The other half has become more or less superfluous.

Who is going to tax them when they're in control? Some kind of UBI will likely be necessary.

You’re definitely right though. Carole tome has said her goal is end to end automation, and we have one of the strongest unions at ups and we’re doing nothing to stop it

Automation is happening very fast at my building already

Package delivery should be safe. They'd have to have driverless vans and robots that can sort through all that freight in the back. Just don't see it.

I agree. I could see them automating feeders for long hauls but they’ll still need drivers for city id imagine and probably just to supervise everything

What’s your opinion on regulating automation? Do you think we should be putting in protections in against it or to slow it down or should we let things happen naturally?

I'd limit it to tech that helps human workers be more productive, but not replace the humans.

Ups has automated lots of things in our building, like irreg cart drivers are now done by robots. They claim it will not take away jobs and just make things more productive and create more jobs, I suppose we’ll see
