Im in Southern California. A 22.2 recently retired. Does anyone know the correct bidding procedure? How has this been handled in your center? Please, try to keep the sarcasm to the minimum. Thank you.

You just have to bid on their job and then file a grievance to try and get it back at 22.2 pay rate

Pay rate will remain at 22.2 classification. How is the bidding done? Does a 22.3 combo job employee have bidding seniority over a 25 year full-time driver?

Hard to be sarcastic when we are so serious here.

What exactly does this number mean ?? 22.3 22.2 etc.

Before 1997 we had inside full-time employees that had the same classification as full-time drivers(i.e, 22.2). After 1997 UPS agreed to create full-time jobs know as 22.3 combo jobs. 22.3 has a different pay scale than 22.2.
