22.3 vs RCPD Jobs

Total crap-shoot in my hub. Drivers don't technically lose seniority but they are put into the 22.3 seniority list based on ft date. If they were top dog in their center but a 22.3 went ft before them then they're SOL. That seems to be the biggest regret I've heard from the few I work with. Also, there are no OT protections so you gotta work till your supe says so. In my case/my bid/my hub I work at least 10hrs every day. So the bid and the hub volume are definitely things to consider. Best of luck on your new job.

I mean what exactly do they lose out on going from the top driver to a top 5 22.3? They will still have enough seniority to get whatever vacation weeks they want. They just won't be able to tell everybody that they're the top dog.

I thought they had to ask people in seniority order whether they want to go home or not. If you're short staffed or low seniority I guess you'd be SOL.

We have so many combos that driver transfers rarely even break top 10 in seniority.
