"OSP said the boy went into the street as the truck began to move in the cul-de-sac."

R.I.P., kid. Too bad no one was watching this 4 year old when he rode his wagon into the street.
Horrific. In our local we had the same kind of accident happen. Kids don't have any sense of danger.

Good thing I wore my brown pants
They don’t want to train us on an extra step to look out for children because it would make their numbers look bad.
A full scan of your truck, including looking under it, every stop, every time is ABSOLUTELY already a method.

Come on, you've never had "failed to look under the truck" checked off on an ojs because they have to mark 10 things, or something dumb like that?

Left mirror, left shoulder, right mirror. Then throw another left mirror in to be safe.
Head on a swivel.

Never bought my own handtruck
I bet that dad wants to eat a gun right now, I would
How about the IE jackass at UPS that cut a route and added the split to a driver that wasn’t as experienced in that area?

Don’t play the blame game, it’s a tragic accident, I’m sure everyone wishes it didn’t happen.

Like you even have kids, your perspective is completely irrelevant and quite frankly disgusting.

Unfortunately, I’ve been involved with a few drivers that had fatalities and it’s honestly honestly the worst thing I could ever imagine.

It was always "needs a haircut and don't check mirrors often enough".

You're illiterate, I didn't blame anyone, I just observed what the dad must be feeling

Also this was a veteran driver and IE literally got out of PKG planning a few years ago
