That's one of the first things you have to do is identify if you see any children and how many children.
Will you come back from making your delivery? That number better match up or you better get out and look
Count the kids.

The kid obviously
I guess that's perspective then, because my sympathies and/or concern go out to the driver and her family who are now facing unemployment, needless scrutiny and guilt as a result of an unattended 4 year old rolling out of a driveway in a little red wagon and broad siding her package car.

nowhere special
I guess the big question is:

Where were the parents?
The parents should have been watching the kid but a 4 year old can be hard to keep track of every second of the day. The driver should have seen him but sometimes things happen too fast. A tragedy but hard to single out one person for the blame game.

This is so true. I can think of times when our kids disappeared for a sec.

Anyone who says they never lost sight of their kid even for a second, is probably lying.

uhhhhh, right

there is nothing in the world worse than losing a child, especially when you could have prevented it; driver will never ever come close to that grief

Had a little buddy out in the driveway near the street in the early 2000s. Mom doing wash in the utility room on side of the house. Wasnt a min or three but he bolted. Not a ton of traffic on the street but got him back to Mom.

My wife's mom and dad lost my 4 year old son in the "tube" (subway station) in London. I wasn't along on that trip.

Allergic to cardboard.

That driver still has her life. A family in a burying their child far too young.
