401K Withdrawals

You need to call Empower.
You have to speak to a person in order to remove funds.
There is a $10 service fee, which will be taken out of the amount removed.
Also you need to times the amount removed by .746 which will be the after taxes amount.

I did a rollover to an IRA after I retired. I haven't taken any money out yet but the process should be simpler.

Vanguard will set up a systematic withdrawal if you desire

Forgive me but I can't figure out how to change my contribution amount these days. I'm simply trying to increase my 401k. It must still be there but their site has changed and I can't find it.

I believe it's offline for another day or two they're making some changes

It’s been online for the most part. Some functions may not work at times. Change over should be done by Tues the 5th.
