I believe after an employee turns 70 1/2 you can collect social security and your pension and your paycheck. How does a person still working collect SS and Pension?
Kinda interested to know this!

There is no age limit just as long as the driver passes the DOT physical and is still safe to perform the work. I have seen package car drivers go right up to 65 before retiring.
My dad was 3 years old in 1964.I was 3 years old in 1964.
Your dad is Upstate? My dad was 3 years old in 1964.
Im not that luckyYour dad is Upstate?
@cosmo1 retired at the age of 85 after 63 years of service. Can't wait to golf with the old coot so I can play from the gold tees for once.
There is a feeder driver I use to exchange trailers with from oregon that was 77. He's in pretty good shape.

(I might make you play the blues.)
I was two months old the day he was hired !!!!The guy with 52 years in does this too.
There's an 80 something feeder drive in the twin cities. Won't retire so his ex wife can't get his pension.
Dude has it made, doesn't build or break down sets. Just gets in and goes
Don't disagree. But I will say this, I have to imagine at his age, not many of his buddies are left. Perhaps he does it as a way to stay out there and doing something? I know of a secretary at a job I had in high school who worked because it got her out and doing something. And when he finally does retire (85-- 90 years old)and dies shortly afterwards some on here will bring up the old "don't retire because you will die" story.
That's just plain ridiculous. What kind of life is that?We had one guy retire after 63 yrs with UPS at the age of 87.
He was doing Yard Shifting and Address Corrections.
(Guessing it was a 22.3 position)
