Airlines have been asking for a Federal No-Fly List (NFL) based on their individual Lists.
TSA maintains a “Terrorist (kind of)” NFL, but the lesser offenses like punching Cabin Crew or Gate Agents isn’t serious enough for the TSA.
It’s needed though.
