The UMWA's endorsement of Grimes is a perfect example of why union members have lost trust in their leadership. No different than the Teamsters endorsement of Obama who then used workers insurance earnings as a subsidies for others. Unions supporting far left-wing politics have done more to destroy union solidarity among its members over the last decade than anything. People see what is happening to their country & it doesn't help that our unions are helping its demise.

Why would they run? They're smart enough to know that A. they'd take a paycut B. couldn't get anything done because of the gridlock C. they get their message across better and more efficiently as mouthpieces and SUPERPACS and D. Most politics these days has less to do with what's best for the people and has more to do with what's best for corporations. And it goes both ways for Libs and Cons. I can't wait for this my way or the highway mentality this ing country's people has to breed out. Like there's only one way to get a prosperous nation...there's several ways.
