I could be wrong on this but I would not surprised that Unions will make a comeback. This pandemic changed our society and culture hopefully for the better, most of the essential work force are unionized, nurses, police, pilots and delivery services. It could be that FedEx and Amazon would figure out that they can make profits and still be under a collective bargaining agreement.

For all it’s faults UPS is the perfect example of a large employer that has been organized for close to 90 years. One of the strengths of a union is that seniority is the driving factor for promotion and monetary increases, their are no glass ceiling or racism involved. You can not say that with corporations that do not have that standard. In our society today these companies need liability protections, it does not get any easier than using seniority as the driving factor for job promotions.
