Amazon Is Spending Big Bucks Trying To Stop Unions
The company’s labor battles have been a bonanza for a handful of “persuaders” who undermine union organizing efforts.
Amazon is going to be very difficult to organize. The first reason is their drivers are contracted and gig workers. The UNION ain't showing too much flex right now IMO

The second reason warehouse workers do not stay at Amazon long-term.
You can get cards signed to join the union, and Amazon simply drags their feet for months, and most of the people who sign cards quit or terminated.

“In early April, Chris Smalls drove down Canal Street, a blunt in his left hand and an iPhone in his right.”
The first sentence pretty much sums it up why it will be an uphill battle to unionize Amazon.
Gangster only takes you so far....eventually you need to circle the wagons and get to work.“In early April, Chris Smalls drove down Canal Street, a blunt in his left hand and an iPhone in his right.”

Not such a good plan for Amazon and the like since the Cemex Decision changed the rules for the better at the NLRB.Amazon is going to be very difficult to organize. The first reason is their drivers are contracted and gig workers.

I agree hopefully that helps, but I don’t know that Amazon cares. We have to make them care. Not such a good plan for Amazon and the like since the Cemex Decision changed the rules for the better at the NLRB.
