Amazon impact on ups facilities

They still have to get their act together on delivery schedules at least. At least in the Portland metro area they act more like the USPS in their routes and delivery promises. Would be nice if Prime members had an option to prefer UPS over their own service. I'm tired of having the old lady come deliver a package at 8 p.m. when I am ... in the middle of something.

Kills the mood.

With us at least I know that they try and steamroll the residentials before mid-afternoon.

Since we would all agree that cusps job is easier than ups, why couldn't ups create two types of routes residential and commercial. Have package size and weight restrictions. You can pay resi a slightly reduced rate. If one package qualifies for commercial or oversize driver gets higher wage. Remember when we would talk about how we would love a DHL paperroute. They used to earn 3 or 4 less back in the day.
