Are those people "close to you" anti-union, and if so, why can't they be as understanding as you seem to be?

....or do you snap back at their anti-union rhetoric?

Mostly conservative family members, and their big issues seem to be an association with union workers being able to be lazy and not be fired, and not liking the idea of someone working half as hard as them getting the same raise

Then I have a close friend who I work with outside of ups, and they have a bad taste in their mouth from unions taking away work and “threatning” non union businesses or something like that.

To be honest I probably do snap back a bit sometimes so they’re probably not as outspoken to me about their anti union beliefs, but that’s what I’ve gotten from our discussions

- Amazon has been firing people for supporting the union.

- Amazon has endless resources to push anti union propaganda.

That is absolutely not true!!!

They organized under a similar "grass roots" movement called the Amazon Labor Union in 2022;

....and they failed to negotiate a contract.

So they affiliated with the Teamsters this past Summer.

Very doubtful. That was an inexperienced startup union that didn’t know what they were doing and got rolled by the company.

Teamsters are scared? Paid off? Too chummy with corporations?
