You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
I agree which is why I think they should be offered to forgo them for higher pay.18 year old kids working 3 hours unloading trailers at 4 am could care less about pension payments

Union would never go 4 that.I agree which is why I think they should be offered to forgo them for higher pay.
Why not just take the $2 full time raises and give it to the part timers and they could keep their pension as well?I agree which is why I think they should be offered to forgo them for higher pay.

PT receives no pension credit until they have worked here for 5 years. Most have found a better paying job long before 5 years. Why not pay the PT $15.00 and not give them a pension at all?
Because it's a union benefit already bargained for in previous contracts. Why not pay the PT $15.00 and not give them a pension at all?
we should go back to that.I remember when amazon was just a rainforest

Or maybe both. A better paying PT job and FT job. Make america great again.Better paying PT job or got a full time job?
Yeah cause they are looking out for them.Union would never go 4 that.
But you're forgetting. At UPS you only have to bust your ass for 3.5 hours.
At Amazon you have to figure out how to occupy an 8 hour day!
In an air conditioned and heated warehouse. The Amazon $15 an hour worker works about the same 4 hour shift as the UPS part timer.
If this contract passes or not, it will not matter to PT. There will not be any improvements. 36 years have shown that.Part timers in my center making $12.90 an hour for 3.5 hours a day....are about to exit in masses if THIS contract passes.
I wonder where they will end up working?
Ya I understand the frustration. at some hubs you need to work 5+ years before moving up from a package handler. And then you have to work 3-4 years before you get top rate as a driver.
Even air jobs at my hub require 5+ years. 22.3 positions are like 10 years+.
It will be. They've got way too many irons in the fire.amazon is too big. it need to be broken up by anti trust.
