True but it wasn't her district and I believe 70% of New Yorkers supported it.

It’s true. The proposed project wasn’t in her district but it was in a district adjacent to hers. Long term and short term , that project would have affected the population in the Queens portion of her district. It would have displaced a lot of the population with those that could afford the increased rents and housing prices in that part of Queens.

And those new people would NOT be voting for a socialist. Maybe that’s why she is so happy.

Suddenly thanks to AOC and a few other nut jobs amazon no longer felt appreciated. There is a great lesson here to be learned and unfortunately the citizens will be the students.

I am only talking about tax revenue. I would guess 30-40% of ups stops in Washington state is amazon (Feels like much more though). 30% is about 150 drivers from Seattle north. That’s over $2 million in tax revenues because of amazon.
