I bought a used 1957 Sears Moped the summer before I went into 5th grade. Bought Only it with my own money earned on my paper route.

I bought a 10 gallon aquarium set up for $18 around 1970 earned with babysitting money.
First pay I ever got.
Then $1 an hour cutting grass at a cemetery.
