Another no-rehire question..

Hey all,
I was put on a no rehire list as of about December 2010. I'd like to get this reversed.

I was not put on no-rehire because of messing around on the job or anything. I suppose its because I didn't come back in time.

I had surgery, and was unable to return to work right away. I also got into a personal injury unrelated to work. I had a serious family illness to deal with, all of these things kept me from coming back to work right away.

Is there anyway to fix this? I suppose I'm on that list for a reason, but would explaining the situation help at all, or am I in a ''tough luck'' situation? I'll be calling HR tomorrow morning, but have any of you had any experience with this? I'm guessing I wont get rehired, but I'd still like to get back in if I can.

Did you quit? Get fired? Don't understand why you don't work for UPS anymore.

Were you ever a UPS employee in the first place? Or were you a seasonal hire? Need more info.

I don't know how they put you on a no rehire list when you haven't even worked here yet.
