I'm not a mechanic but it seems pretty simple. Something breaks down, a driver either comes to you or writes the issue up, you tell them that "those parts" aren't available and the driver goes out anyways.

Now, this doesn't apply to problems that can be fixed with packaging tape and let me tell you, brother, apparently there's not a whole lot that tape won't fix.

Is that why I can never find tape as a loader?

Yeah, most of them think because they put a muffler on their POS civic or mustang back in high school they could manage a fleet here.
Muffler!?

I changed the tire stem caps on my car once but that's about it.
