Commercial Inside Release

Amazon sales for Prime Day probably reflect the heavy, heavy advertising. That Prime Day commercial is everywhere, all the time. Plus, right now is the perfect time to take "back to school" customers out of the market, by harvesting their tightly held devalued dollars, while encouraging them to spend the rest of the Summer with their shiny, new Prime Account.

Amazon timed Prime Day to fall on the CPI & PPI reports, as well. Next level stuff.

JPM CEO Jamie Diamond summed it up pretty well this morning on his call. The US economy is very strong, unemployment is very low, bank accounts are flush with cash, consumers are spending and credit balances are low. Worldwide strains on energy and food are creeping into every country and every economy, but the US is in the best position to withstand the pressure.

Sounds like all we need is some clarity on the inflation/rate hike situation and the party is back on.
