Anyone Afraid Of Inflation?

Interesting. This is where you ask is it better to get your +5% interest or pay down 2,3,4% mortgage?

It was an easy decision for me. I have no mortgage. I have all the different investments I need and I had $150k in the bank between my checking and money markets so I figured I could do without $100k for 12 months paying 6% and still have $50k if I need any emergency money in the next 12 months. If I had a mortgage I would never have $150k not going towards it, that’s why I haven’t had a mortgage since I was 39 yrs old.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
Heloc…….Bad news? Sell your house?…
Nope. He’s been bought off if he’s advocating that nonsense. Why would I leverage my property in this uncertain economy? So Blackrock or Vanguard or Blackstone can buy it? Yeah, I’m just dying to be :censored2:in serf. Eff that.

Feudalism. That “Arrived” homes biz resells pieces of homes in hours sometimes. Amazing and sad..

Chicken or the egg. Wages and benefits have risen more than 9% per year since 2021. That nearly 30% increase has to be passed down to the consumer. Replacement costs are driving insurance premiums.
