Lol, OOPS, Democratic US Rep. Jim Clyburn cut off live on MSNBC. He was saying Biden has inflation under control — only to get cut off by with the news that prices rose more than expected last month.

US adults now need a record $1.5 million on average to retire. Last year, in 2023, a typical person needed $1.3 million.
Current CD rates are above 5% if you go looking.

That means 1.5 million would provide a close to zero risk return of over $75,000 a year before social security or pensions.

I don't think you need 1.5 million.

We don’t. Maybe with inflation actually in the teens they do. Just think…. they are printing 1Trillion every 100 days.

The “American dream” is a debt trap:
$80,000- College
$30,000- Wedding
$300,000- Home
$40,000- Car

We trap people in their 20’s & they spend the next 35+ years giving most of their time to a job to pay it all off.

America does not run on Dunkin… it runs on consumer debt
