He’s almost out... he doesn’t gas about the future employeesAnd if #2 were in effect, they would just grow the pool of casual drivers. What are you not understanding about this? #2 is a death sentence.

He talks out his ass. He’s almost out... he doesn’t gas about the future employees
Absolutely.... he is definitely in “la-la” land!!!!He talks out his ass.
@UpstateNYUPSer has this in his supplement already so he doesn't see it as a big deal. NE got rid of year round casuals in 1993.And if #2 were in effect, they would just grow the pool of casual drivers. What are you not understanding about this? #2 is a death sentence.
Before UPS went public there was some trust that the company would do the right thing. After being publicly traded, they sold their soul and can never be trusted again.@UpstateNYUPSer has this in his supplement already so he doesn't see it as a big deal. NE got rid of year round casuals in 1993.
We don't want to go backwards.
Scratch it... that's ok. But they still have to pay us triple time anyway would be my counter offer.#10 is a given.

Don’t scratch it. Did working Black Friday really ease the “bubble” of packages clogging the system? Or would a four day weekend with your family help mentally prepare you to come into the nightmare that is inevitably waiting?Scratch it... that's ok. For no reason because we want it? That’s what a negotiation is.For what?
I agree BUT, you’ve never met my family.Don’t scratch it. Did working Black Friday really ease the “bubble” of packages clogging the system? Or would a four day weekend with your family help mentally prepare you to come into the nightmare that is inevitably waiting?
Facial hair is not a contractual issue and need not EVER be a contractual issue.....EVER!!!
If we are going to give up a paid holiday that we are presently being paid double time for, at the Company's request, I want 3 additional optional holidays.
trading all that for no PVDs would be fair i think
fair as in you're unlikely to get better
Right.
We get to negotiate and vote, on our contract.
You, on the other hand....
Will take what you get and like it. Or, leave for "better" opportunities.
Think Amazon.

i think if we get the free turkey back, we all would be happy to vote yes
It's a prime example, of the contempt and callous attitude the company
has towards their employees. Wake up management people.... you're next.
Throw in the odd year wallet, I'm in!i think if we get the free turkey back, we all would be happy to vote yes
Next? Where have you been rookie? Management was first - cost control started there well before '97.
The company's contempt toward employees is certainly no more nor any newer than employee contempt for the company.
Negotiations just started, don't get your collective panties in a twist.
