How long do they last you?

I've got low tops (Chinese made ones) that have lasted about 6 months so far. The high top boots, I wear for colder months, have lasted a couple years now. So about 12 months on those.

I'm not a runner gunner. 50 stops a day max. But they are comfortable and both have hard toes. The inserts are still firm on the arch. I have a pair in each pair of boots.

Socks are important too. Cotton socks are bad. Buy synthetic or wool socks. Thorlo makes good cushion socks and "Darn Tough" (made in Vermont) merino wool socks are the best you can get.

The socks have a lifetime warranty. If you wear them out they'll send you new ones for free.

Or you could just save a bunch of money and get really lightweight boots.
