Arizona's anti-imigration law...

Dilli, I never said that the whole state was unaffected. I live in the upper NE corner of the state about 5 hours north of NYC. We are just now beginning to experience some of the effects of the drug trade. We had a meth lab busted last year, we have stabbings and murders, but none of the border turmoil that you and Lifer have described.
You didn't. I should have said your area. It's unlikely that you will ever see the degree of things that we see here. You are simply to far away. That's a good thing.:happy-very:

I've been in your area. It's beautiful up there. Across 90 to Boston and 2 trips to Montreal. 89 going up and 87 coming back down.

Look at the bright side Dilligaf, you'll never have to face the same potential problem as UPState in that at any time Klein could cross the border and show up in his town!

The glass is always half full although I've got UPState now giving serious thought to the opposite of that thinking!

Just that I'm actually further away from Upstate then Dilli is.
Actually many Canucks reside in Arizona, retire there, or snowbird there.
Buy homes, etc.

Not so the case in NY state.

In my neck of the woods, most Meth lab busts are people one gene ahead of the same folks featured in the movie Deliverance!
:happy-very:

LMAO!!! Seems like meth is the drug of choice for the "Deliverance" gene pool in many cities accross America. Every week i read about some Meth lab explosion in a trailer park or in someones car trunk. I dont mind when it takes out the idiots but its sad when kids are envolved. If you want to see some crazy pics on what meth does to someone just google "faces of meth".

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico – Gunmen stormed into a bar, dragged out eight people and killed them in the parking lot, the first of several shootings in this violent border city Wednesday that left 16 dead, including a man in a wheelchair.
In one incident, a car chase and shootout killed three people in front of an elementary school, creating a panic among students, teachers and parents.
Battles between rival drug gangs have made Ciudad Juarez, across the border from El Paso, Texas, one of the world's deadliest cities. More than 800 people have been killed this year in the city of 1.3 million people.
Armed men burst into the Aristos bar in the middle of the night, said Arturo Sandoval, a spokesman for the Chihuahua state attorney general's office. Eight people were forced out into the parking lot and shot to death.
The victims had not been identified, but Sandoval said at least one appeared to be a teenage boy.
The shootout in front of the Benito Juarez elementary school erupted hours later. Sandoval said a woman and two men were found dead inside a car.
Gunmen in a car chased down another vehicle and opened fire in front of the school around noon, said a teacher who asked not to be quoted by name out of fear for his safety.
The teacher said a pregnant teacher and three students suffered panic attacks and were taken to a hospital. Classes were canceled for the rest of the day, and parents rushed to pick up their children.
Gunmen opened fire on another car elsewhere in the city, killing four young men inside, Sandoval said. Separately, a gang of armed men killed a man sitting in a wheelchair on the sidewalk, he said.
Police had no information on the identities of any of the gunmen.

I see they are starting to riot and loot business in LA now. I bet a lot of people are changing their minds in Caif. about the whole immagration thing now. Care to make a guess about how long before the shop owners start shooting the looters and the looters start burning businesses. I see Watts all over again.

One day this madness can come to every American city as well. Can't wait for every 18 year old in the country to have his glock strapped to his thigh just itchin' to take out the next 911 type terrorist cell. Hell, Halo must have taught them something. More likely he'll take out the classmate who "stole" his most recent girl.
