Know this is an old topic but i was going to apply to one of the dry van dedicated positions , used google search to check if UPS did rehire people and this was on the top of the search . In 2001 I was in training in Louisville ,Ky working for worldwide dedicated ( a sub of ups) delivering for the papa johns pizza commisary . Had been there almost a month when my 4 year old daughter got very ill , she had to have surgery on both of her kidneys individually.
She had to have one surgery then wait a month then have the other .Since I had just started I could not apply for fmla , I had to resign as my daughters issues were greater than any job at that point , management understood and I thought i left on good terms .
Guess I did not , i am not eligible for rehire ..
