Wrong homie. The no-knock warrant was served at the correct address.
Taylor's association with the drug dealer they were looking for justified the warrant.
As much as that guy was most likely a scumbag, and deserved to go to jail and she was a fool for being with him I’m not a fan of no knock warrants. These officers. definitely could’ve waited and just grabbed him when he walked out of the house in the morning or anytime. No knock warrants are dangerous for both parties involved. I mean if you bust into my house, I’m gonna start blasting. I don’t know who the hell you are.

Part of the problem is how often cops abuse no knock warrants. In my opinion they should be rarely granted. Bad things happen too often when they have one.

I could definitely see scenarios where it might be a necessity, but they should be rare like you say. Generally, speaking, surveilling a house and nabbing the perpetrator as they’re coming or going, seems to be a lot less dangerous.

It invites a shootout. And possibly endangering innocent bystanders.

If someone surprises me and busts into my house my knee jerk reaction would be to try to defend myself. Before my brain has a chance to process what is happening.

Absolutely. I’m pretty sure @UnionStrong watches Jeopardy and wheel of Fortune fully strapped. They bust into the wrong house with him and it’s on like donkey Kong before you say boo!

LOL....Assuming they fail to yell and scream which is part of the deal, and you're confident your Taurus .25 is up to the task, Jump up and start firing..... Use your ho girlfriend as a shield if she's not too fat to move quickly.

Statistically, you're safe unless you have bad juju and are stupid.

Or do nothing and let these people come in your house that you don’t know who they really are, and they rape the women in your family and kill you?

No knock warrants are really a bad idea and not constitutional at all in my opinion. I want to get the bad guys too. I do not want to give the authorities this kind of power.

I read your opinion, just do what you were trained to do in your situation.
Those guys rang the doorbell before breaking in… LOL

No knock warrants are a great idea. I wish they were used more often.
