Republicans better turn out in record numbers if the Dems put up a halfway decent candidate. The Dems don't care about the good things Trump has done. They're in denial about anything good anyways. They're so rabid about removing Trump they'll most like turn out in record numbers. 2020 is shaping up to be a very different election.

A leftward shift won’t be as much of a problem if Democratic candidates like Bernie keep going on Fox News and do a good job articulating their policy proposals to folks who would otherwise only have heard about them through a Shawn Hannity filter.
