I am just happy that he finally discovered that there was not seventy virgins just a team of Navy Seals that ended his miserable life.

Congrats to all of the brave men and women of America's Armed Services. I will also say a prayer today for the thousand who have died because of Bin Laden's hate.

Well, in the end, you are right, there werent 40 virgins looking at him at the time of his death, just 40 Navy Seals heavily armed and they didnt bring any condoms, just a body bag.

Bin Laden was killed in a U.S. helicopter raid using the Elite of the Elite, Navy Seals Team 6", on a mansion near the Pakistani capital Islamabad early on Monday, officials said, ending a nearly 10-year worldwide hunt for the mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks. U.S. officials said bin Laden was found in the million-dollar compound in the military garrison town of Abbottabad, 60 km (35 miles) north of Islamabad.

So next Question should be, Why was Osama Bin Laden living in a million $$$ compound so near Pakistans Capital and so near a Palistan Military garrison???

Is our President and Nation going to play this down or be dirrect about this. There is NO WAY for him to live in a safe haven in that location unless the Pakistan Gov. assisted him. Pakistan Gov. can't deny not knowing this. There are photos of Pakistan military on patrol guarding this compound.

Why isn't this factor the big headline on our NEWS STATIONS????????????????

On the drive home, this was the topic being discussed on my local NPR affiliates; on the drive to work this morning, it was the topic being discussed on the BBC.

Let us be reminded, this inst the end of anything, it is only the beginning.

It wasnt a matter of if we would catch Bin laden, it was only a matter of when. Navy seals team 6, the elite of the elite, killed Osama last night in a raid of a million dollar complex. The CIA knew of this building 5 years ago and only speculated to whom was in it. The raid was signed into motion and the speculation paid off, it was him. He resisted, as is said for now, and he was shot in the eye. DNA reports that it was him. Forgive me for stepping in, but I feel a horde of conspiracy theories born from this. To the moment of the raid, resist and burial at sea.

As I said it isnt the end of anything, it is only the start. Backlash from this is comming, thats for sure. No matter how extreme, it will show up. The muslim world gears are turning, thus retaliation is next.

I heard that Osama is the english translation of the arabic Usama.
I'm a bit suspicious of that at sea burial too. I would have preferred bringing the carcass back here, cremation, ashes in an urn, placed in a significantly large drain pipe used to plumb a large public urinal placed near ground zero. But I'm not bitter at all.

UBL has always been UBL...Usama Bin Laden.. Some news channels consistently made the error of calling him Osama.... There was never a time where he was called OBL... and Osama isnt a translation of anything.

Bringing his body here and desecrating it would only bring about further hate from the middle east. Why anger the rest of the muslim/islamic world by a stupid act? We can all be angry, but we are suppose to be the most civilized country on the face of the earth. Pissin on a dead bodys ashes only reduces us to the level of a third world nation.

Dumping his body at sea was the right thing to do. You cannot build, errect or worship a shrine in the middle of the sea.

We have shown the world that our "resolve" when applied in the proper context will show results.

Hmmmm, that's what I was told by an Arabic Muslim. I guess you more more about their native tongue than they do.

I don't claim to know Osama from Usama but I do know that the arabic alphabet has 28 characters, ours has 26 and neither comes with a decoder ring...
