How does this work?

Margin trading.
Users can open positions much larger than their capital would allow by borrowing money from the platform.

If you borrow 100X your money, you can open a position 100 times larger.
But. If the price goes down by 1%, you've lost your original capital, and so they take their money back, leaving you broke.

High stakes gambling.
And the house always wins.

Does the house require you to have enough money to cover the loan?

That's kind of how the Great depression started. Too much buying stocks on margin

100x leverage means a 1% move in the wrong way will leave you liquidated.

it you put down 10k usd, 1% in the wrong way takes away your whole 10k usd

So how much could one earn if it went up ?
For every 1% advance in the way of your “bet” you gain 100% roi. 100x is absolutely retarded in crypto as it’s so volatile.

I hit 900% on the doge dump a couple weeks ago at 40x leverage in a couple hours

I only put down 100-1000usd though per posistion.

I have a 33x long open on a certain coin right now. It’s not looking good. I will probably loose my 200usd initial but we will see. I was already -70% on my position which was extremely close to liquidation.

LMAO.

Okay crypto millionaire.
I knew you were full of crap before, but I'm calling on this one.

BS. You are not gonna type that you are this experienced trader, and then talk about using 40x leverage.
You're an idiot. And you aren't an investor.

Full stop.

My dude. I have my hold stack that is currently worth close to 400k usd

I am a gambler. I have a change stack to play with leverage trades. I like to gamble. It’s not football season so I play with pocket change using leverage. 200 usd is what I would bet on a football game.

This is my position right now. I have no reason to lie. As you can see, I put 162usd into this position. You see my liquidation price. 33x is the leverage I’m using. I’m not closing it until I get liquidated, get to 1000usd, or see something in the charts that makes me close. You can laugh at me if I loose my 162. I would laugh along with you.

the amount of seethe from people on here is sad.

oy ve.
300% in 2.5hr.

I was like 10% from getting liquidated at one point.

I should close it...... when I’m playing safe I do in this situation.... but I like what I see In the charts, I like the feels I have, so I won’t. If I loose my 160 so be it.

If you play 100-200 a week
based on market sentiment/charts/feels, you will loose, but if you catch a high leveraged trade in the “sweet spot”, 5-10k usd off a couple hundred isn’t impossible. Iv done it before on numerous occasions.
