Yeah. That way when you walk, the spores will disperse wherever you're going. If you go out for morels and don't bag them in mesh you're doing a disservice. In the pictures above you'll see purple-black dye looking stuff on the wet ones sitting on foil. Those are spores for that species.

The only way to pick is either mesh or paper. Mushrooms get old and nasty fast in pastic. Loosely closed paper bag is always best, and then treated like a food product.

Yeah, I read that about the mesh bags, that's why I asked.

The amount I normally go out for fills buckets and boxes and stuff in my car. Once you know what the good ones look like, you don't wanna walk around with 20 pounds of them in a mesh bag over your shoulder.

Usually I'm in camo rain gear. Sometimes you gotta army crawl through the grasses and sedge. If you do it right, nobody will ever know you were there.

Gotta risk it for that biscuit!

The reason this bourbon needs a bit of water is because it's bottled at 110 proof.

So it's kind of hot if you don't put a teaspoon or so of chilled water in it

Most bourbons are bottled around
84ish to 94ish proof
