A camping spot at a good private campground runs about 35 to 50 bucks a night. It used to be cheap but not anymore. We like to stay in in Federal camp grounds where with a "Golden Age Pass" it only costs about 23. Usually at the Federal parks its just electric only--- no sewer or water hook-up.

I used to like to take road trips and save money by staying in campgrounds. A primitive site with no utilities for a tent was very cheap. I kept a KOA guide in my car to find a place.

It don't surprise me. Mn. just started allowing it about 5 years ago. Some of the rigs really push the limit when they try to pull them with half ton pick-up. Then again.........

In Canada I once saw a gangster motorhome pulling a full size pickup that had a 20 ft pleasure boat mounted on a special home built rack (I assume) in the back of the truck. The boat stuck up over the cab of the pickup. In the pleasure boat was a canoe and 2 bicycles. The dude was taking all his toys with him.
