The hospital posted a Facebook update, calling the response “wonderfully overwhelming,” and encouraging people to continue sending cards, or to record online videos of their families singing Christmas carols to show to Jacob and other patients.

And next weekend will be Christmas for Jacob and his family. His room will be decorated with a tree, snow, lights, and Santa Claus will even pay him a visit.

I had kids on my route die from cancer. So heartbreaking.

My cousin just got a job at the Children's Hospital around here. Can't figure out why she would do that to herself. I'm not strong enough to deal with that.
