Well, I am retired.........

Actually, once I get past the mess and hassle of prep, the actual painting is easy. Kind of mindless and relaxing.

Besides, we already had the living room prepped and painted paid for by insurance. So, I have that going for me.

A little latex out-gassing never hurt anyone.

What kind of paint are folks using these days?.......last time we did interior painting we liked the semi-gloss latex (easy to wash).

Use flat instead of semi gloss.

Or cadmium if you prefer yellows over whites.
