I'm really sore today.

I don't mind the snow. Right now we have 2 inches of snow with an inch of ice under it. Making steps about impossible to traverse.

I don't leave stuff at the end of the drive. Front door or garage or EC.

I do. I don’t play with these people on my route. My safety is more important. UPS and Ground do the same as me.

Not enough snow to shovel here, but it is 22 degrees right now. No mail the last 2 days. What happened to that "Through snow or rain or heat nor gloom of night" thing?

When I was still working it was hard to keep driveway shoveled. It usually froze to ice before I had enough time. Now I am usually able to shovel right away.

I won’t even go down unshoveled walkways anymore. After falling hard on ice a few years ago trying to get to someone’s front door, I now leave it at the garage.

I drove one back around '77. It was stood up under the lower shelf. It had a piece of the shelf (wood) cut out so it could stick up through it.

Part of the beauty of living an hour away in a very hilly town. I rarely am able to get to work the first day after a snow.

I just drove a package car with a spare 2 weeks ago. Pain in the ass.

Yeah now that I think about it some of the really old trucks had spares. But I think those were eventually taken out of all the trucks. Now its a road call and the shop calls a contractor to come out and change your tire.

I called in after an 18 inch snow. They said we will come get you. Ok come get me. They broke a cv axle in an SUV trying to get to me.

I live outside the city and they keep the roads here clear. In the city they plow the mayor's neighborhood but the ghetto can forget about it.

UPS has eliminated most mechanics so if it isn't something simple it gets towed back.

Can generation snowflake change a tire? In our high school then don't offer auto shop anymore.

A lot of them don't even bother to learn to drive.
