It sucks.

We have a stream just north of here that goes into a conduit and under the rest of the city. If the debris gates get clogged, my house (and a lot of my neighbor's houses) see flooding.

Living on the edge.

Do you go out and try to keep it clear or leave that to the local government?

It's a six-foot pipe. They use a backhoe to clear the debris off.
